ChatRank is operated by 520 Group LLC, Austin, TX. This policy describes what data we collect when you use chatrank.us, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

We collect the minimum data required to deliver your audit and improve our platform. We do not sell your data. We do not send unsolicited marketing communications.

The short version: Submit a URL and email, receive your audit report, receive one follow-up from ChatRank. Nothing else unless you ask.

02 DATA COLLECTED

What we collect

When you submit an audit at chatrank.us, we collect:

  • The company URL you submit for analysis
  • Your email address, provided to receive the report
  • The audit results generated from your submission — AI Share of Voice, Citation Density, Answer Position, Competitive Displacement, and associated competitor data
  • Standard web analytics data via Google Analytics 4 — pages visited, session duration, traffic source. No personally identifiable information is collected by GA4 in our configuration.

We do not collect payment information, account credentials, or any data beyond what is listed above.

03 HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

What we do with it

  • Deliver your audit report — your email is used solely to send the intelligence report you requested
  • One follow-up communication — by submitting your email, you consent to receive one follow-up from ChatRank related to your audit. You may unsubscribe at any time.
  • Internal research — aggregate audit data is used to improve our methodology, scoring models, and platform
  • External research reporting — anonymized, aggregated findings from audits may appear in published ChatRank research reports and benchmark studies. Individual companies are not identified without explicit consent.

ChatRank does not operate an automated marketing nurture program. We do not enroll audit submitters in email sequences, drip campaigns, or recurring promotional communications.

04 RESEARCH REPORTS

Aggregate research and benchmarks

ChatRank publishes periodic research reports using aggregated audit data. These reports analyze AI visibility trends across industries and company types. No individual company's data is published without their consent.

OPT-OUT OF EXTERNAL RESEARCH

To remove your company's audit data from any externally published research, email us at:

We will confirm removal within 5 business days. Removal applies to future publications. Data already published in anonymized aggregate form cannot be retroactively removed.

05 THIRD PARTY SERVICES

Who processes your data

Submitted URLs are sent to the following services to generate your audit results. These providers process data only to deliver their function in the audit pipeline and do not retain it for their own commercial purposes.

06 DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION

Where and how long

Audit data is retained indefinitely to support longitudinal analysis, methodology improvement, and aggregate research. You may request deletion of your audit data at any time by emailing with the subject line Delete My Data · [Company Name]. We will confirm deletion within 10 business days.

Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted on US-based servers. Data is not transferred internationally.

07 ADDITIONAL TERMS

Children, changes, and governing law

ChatRank is a B2B platform designed for marketing professionals. This service is not directed at anyone under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We reserve the right to update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of chatrank.us following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas, consistent with our Terms of Service.
